Calm Mornings, Clear Water, Strong Offshore Bite — Mid‑July Fishing Heating Up Fast

The Gulf continues to settle into a classic mid‑summer pattern: calm mornings, scattered afternoon storms, warm water, and excellent fishing windows from Mexico Beach → PCB → Destin → Pensacola → Orange Beach.

Water clarity is better than last week, weedlines are tightening, and offshore crews are reporting strong snapper limits, heavy mingo action, and more mahi showing up daily. Pelagics are pushing in tighter, and billfish activity remains elevated after the Bay Point Billfish Open.
