FISHING UPDATE - 8/21 to 8/28 Destin/PCB to Gulf Shores Fishing Report

According to the Captains along the coast from Destin/PCB to Gulf Shores, the fishing has been solid this past week. From a weather perspective the upcoming week looks really good. Waves will be 1-2 feet most of the week ahead. As always, a chance for pop up storms so be prepared but the forecast is mostly clear for the week.
One of the captains wanted me to remind my followers that the Snapper Season in Federal waters is still open for Captains with Federal Permits. It's a bit more of a ride but they have been pulling in some really good snapper.
Inshore fishing reports last week have been really good.

What is HOT !!!!! Snapper, Red Grouper, Scamp, Mahi Mahi, Spanish Mackerel, Black Drum and Grouper, Vermillion and Trigger Fish. King Mackerel and Sailfish slowed down last week
